In addition to a boat launch and fishing, this site offers excellent opportunities for waterfowl and wildlife viewing. Facilities include a public toilet, water, and parking. Just prior to driving down to the parking lot a trailhead for an accessible trail can be found. This trail makes its' way to an observation deck overlooking the lake, it is less than one mile round trip.
