The WaterWorks Art Museum in Miles City, Montana will host its Annual Quick Draw and Auction in the park on Saturday, May 16, during Miles City’s World Famous Bucking Horse Sale. Sponsored by Stockman Bank, the event begins at approximately 10:30 a.m.”
Artists will have just 30 minutes to complete an original work of art, followed by 10 minutes to frame it before the pieces are presented in a live auction. As the only 30-minute Quick Draw in the region, this event showcases an extraordinary level of skill, focus, and creative energy. The artwork produced within this compressed timeframe is consistently remarkable.
Each year, we welcome returning artists while also intentionally inviting at least one new artist to participate, ensuring both tradition and fresh perspective.
More than a competition, the Quick Draw is a celebration of art, creativity, and community. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and impressive talent, the event challenges artists to push their boundaries while giving spectators a rare, dynamic glimpse into the artistic process in real time.
