2025 Missoula Cyclocross Series - 9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22 Missoula Cyclocross: A Fall Tradition like no other. Our Wednesday night series has become a scene for cyclists and spectators alike. Different courses offer different features–you’ll see barriers, run ups, sand pits, corners galore, varying week to week depending on location. This series offers races for all ages and abilities– even if you’ve never tried a CX race before but want to see what they’re about, this series is for you. Progressive heavyweights Between the Buried and Me and Hail The Sun will bring The Blue Nowhere Tour to Montana in 2025 — performing at The ELM in Bozeman on October 21st and The Wilma in Missoula on October 22nd. Special guests Delta Sleep will open both shows. Between the Buried and Me return with The Blue Nowhere — their most sonically daring record yet set to release on September 12th. Known for constantly evolving their sound, BTBAM blend soaring melodies, ferocious instrumentation, and layered storytelling into genre-defying epics. Expect a career-spanning set with new tracks like “Things We Tell Ourselves in the Dark” and fan-favorite journeys like “Selkies: The Endless Obsession” and “The Coma Machine.” California’s Hail The Sun continue to blur the lines between post-hardcore and progressive rock, delivering intricate compositions wrapped in emotionally charged lyrics. Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and their friends from Sesame Street are coming to your neighborhood to say hello! At Elmo and Friends Say Hello, sing, dance, and play alongside your favorite furry friends, all while you follow Elmo’s puppy, Tango, in a fun game of hide & seek. So put on your dancing shoes and make your way to where the air is sweet for this all-new celebration on Sesame Street! Join us for a community-based talent show hosted by Hellgate high school students. All types of talents are welcome and encouraged. Proceeds will be donated to the Watson‘s Children’s Center to support Missoula youth in need of resources. It will be a fun and thrilling night to showcase your talents, gather with friends, and support local youth. We hope to see you there!

This course will introduce you to intaglio techniques and guide you through making your own plates and original print editions. All experience levels welcome, from beginners to experienced printmakers! Printmaking methods discussed will include copper etching, drypoint, and others (depending on interest). Intaglio is a general term for several methods of printmaking in which ink is transferred to paper via marks incised in the surface of a printing plate (such as copper or plastic). Damp paper is pushed through a printing press and the pressure allows the paper to absorb the ink sitting below the surface of the plate. Class will be held on Wednesdays.

This is a beginner-friendly collaborative singing gathering. Pub Sing is a casual “singing jam” of sorts (not a performance!). A wide variety of songs are welcome, but ones with catchy choruses, call and response, or that are generally “sing-along-able” work best. We take turns leading songs, and everyone joins in on the chorus or other repeated parts. It’s also totally fine to just sing along! You don’t have to lead a song if you don’t want to. Traditional songs, folk songs, sea chanties, etc. are all great genres to draw from. We sing a cappella, so no instruments are needed. Feel free to bring print outs of lyrics to share :-) We hope you'll join us!

The St. Olaf Orchestra, conducted by Chung Park, is a full symphony orchestra, rich in international artistry and tradition and known for its enthusiastic and passionate performances. Founded in 1906 at St. Olaf College, the 90-member ensemble has been heralded as one of the best collegiate orchestras in the country and received the 2013 and 2018-19 American Prize in Orchestral Performance among colleges and universities. Often compared to professional orchestras, the St. Olaf Orchestra was heralded as one of the best collegiate orchestras by TIME magazine. The orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5, Valerie Coleman’s Seven O’Clock Shout, feature student soloists, and more. The St. Olaf Orchestra first toured in 1949, traveling through Minnesota and Iowa to encourage the development of high school string programs. Over the next several decades, the orchestra program grew and flourished.

Join us for a family-friendly game of Clue, the strategy and chance game you know and love! Just like our regular Clue, the game will be played among the fabulous rooms of the Moss Mansion. Every parent/child team will be given a character and a detective sheet to help them solve the murder. Crack the case by finding all the hidden clues, then you will know which character is the murderer, what weapon was used, and in what room! Reservations are $20 per person, children must be accompanied by an adult and all adults must be accompanied by a child:) We can have up to 30 players. Recommended for ages 9 and up, must be able to navigate the stairs. Game rules start at 6:00 pm sharp, the game is played, then points are tallied and snacks and drinks are served at about 7:15 pm. This is a family-friendly game so only non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Know before you go: The game will play out on the first and second floors, so be ready for plenty of stairs with sensible shoes and layered clothing. Reservations are not eligible for a refund but may be transferred by calling 406-256-5100. *Proceeds from Moss Mansion activities fund all daily operations and preservation work at the museum.*

The Veebaray Ranch, founded in 1913, features a varied landscape, ranging from rolling hills to rugged breaks. Ranch Tours are the most informative, relaxing, and enjoyable event of the year.
