Opening day is September 20, till October 31, weather permitting. Hours are 10 A.M to 5 p.m Monday through Sunday. Admission is 15 dollars per person. Words and images together are a powerful form of storytelling, and artists of all ages can combine and juxtapose visual art and the written word and have a great time doing it. This class will introduce ideas and techniques for creating a short comic based on a lived experience or story. Artists will learn basic illustration techniques, from sketching to storyboarding to layout, inking and coloring. Older teens can participate as well in this jumpstart into the world of graphic novels. Classes will be held on Mondays.

We are SO excited to kick off the 2025 Pumpkin Season! Our Pumpkin Patch and Open Farm will open at 12pm on Wednesday, Oct. 1st! Check out our hours below! The first 3 weekends of October will be our Festivals! We will close the Open Farm on Oct. 20th but the Farm Store, Farm Yard, and Harvest Market Barn will remain open until Thursday, Oct. 30th. The Harvest Market Barn will be closed on Halloween…but of course our Farm Store remains open year round! See you at the Pumpkin Patch!!! Please note: our FARM STORE will be open as normal EVERYDAY from dawn to dusk to purchase produce, meat, eggs ,etc! Sorry, NO dogs allowed! Officially trained service animals are allowed per ADA. Non-service pets are not allowed on our working farm with livestock and our trained farm dogs. Thank you for respecting our farm and our commitment to being good stewards of our livestock. These weekends will have food trucks, fresh popcorn, fresh baked donuts, live entertainment, face painting and a more festival type atmosphere. The whole farm will be open to explore and see the animals! Plus, we will have Big Sky Hollers and Texas Tom playing on the weekends! The Open Farm will close after Oct. 19th so we can prep our fields for winter and the animals can get back to their pastures. But the Farm Store, Harvest Market Barn and the Farm Yard will remain open until Oct. 30th! We accept cash, check, Venmo, PayPal or credit/debit cards during the Pumpkin Festival!

For those looking for more sporty trivia questions, Monday nights are dedicated to sports trivia which is also hosted at 7:30pm. Progressive heavyweights Between the Buried and Me and Hail The Sun will bring The Blue Nowhere Tour to Montana in 2025 — performing at The ELM in Bozeman on October 21st and The Wilma in Missoula on October 22nd. Special guests Delta Sleep will open both shows. Between the Buried and Me return with The Blue Nowhere — their most sonically daring record yet set to release on September 12th. Known for constantly evolving their sound, BTBAM blend soaring melodies, ferocious instrumentation, and layered storytelling into genre-defying epics. Expect a career-spanning set with new tracks like “Things We Tell Ourselves in the Dark” and fan-favorite journeys like “Selkies: The Endless Obsession” and “The Coma Machine.” California’s Hail The Sun continue to blur the lines between post-hardcore and progressive rock, delivering intricate compositions wrapped in emotionally charged lyrics. Led by vocalist/drummer Donovan Melero, their live show is a tightly wound burst of energy with standout tracks like “Rolling Out the Red Carpet” and “Human Target Practice,” and their new single “The Drooling Class.”

Country-pop hitmaker Niko Moon will bring his American Palm Tour to The Wilma in Missoula on October 21, 2025, with rising star David J. Blending laid-back vibes with country roots, Niko Moon has carved a lane all his own. Known for his upbeat, feel-good sound, Moon broke onto the scene with his Platinum-certified hit “Good Time.” Since then, he’s followed up with fan favorites like “Paradise to Me,” “No Sad Songs,” and his latest single, “Sandcastles.” After his sun-soaked debut Good Time, Moon returned with Better Days — a project that dives deeper into his signature blend of country, pop, and reggae, while embracing a more reflective, uplifting tone. Opening the night is country newcomer David J, whose smooth vocals and catchy hooks have made waves with tracks like “Before You” and “Lost My Heartbreak.”

Gaelic Storm takes a true blue-collar, hard-nose approach to touring, consistently traveling the US and internationally forging a unique path in the Celtic music world. “You have to see us live. We are the true working-man’s’ band,” says longtime member Ryan Lacey. “We still, and most likely always will, tour most of the year, and that’s how we constantly hone our craft.” This dedication to their live show dates all the way back to the mid-1990s, when Gaelic Storm kicked off its’ career as a pub band in Santa Monica, California. One which performance led to their discovery that ultimately found the band appearing in the blockbuster film, Titanic (where they performed “Irish Party in Third Class”). This laid the groundwork for a career that would eventually find them topping the Billboard World Chart six times, making appearances at mainstream music festivals, and regularly headlining the largest Irish Festivals across the country, all while gaining a reputation as a genre-bending Irish rock band whose songs mix Celtic traditions with something uniquely creative.

The figure may seem like a complex subject, and if taken at face value it is. There is too much information to navigate. but by analyzing, interpreting and simplifying our subject, the figure becomes much more manageable. In this class we will discuss how to capture motion with gesture drawing and how to navigate the landmarks of the figure to construct the body out of basic forms. Not only will this approach allow you to draw from the model, it will also teach you to draw the figure from imagination confidently. There is little value in rendering what we see without a knowledge of the underlying structure. In this class we won’t use sight-size drawing or optical tricks, but we will learn in a simplified way the same methods used by the French Academic artists of the 19th century. This approach is used by concept artists in the film and animation industries and illustrators to understand and eventually exaggerate their designs into characters. Classes will be held on Tuesdays.
