Daisy Chain Fest is celebrating a long-standing tradition of Missoula DIY music festivals. We have partnered with many local businesses and spaces to make another year of music and arts happen in Missoula! We are excited to announce acts such as Dean Johnson, Desolation Horse and Idaho Green, supported by our friends around the state and region! Wristbands are available at our website (www.daisychainpresents.com) - $45 for all three paid events, otherwise you can pay covers to individual events. We also have three donation-based/open to the public events with our community partners Western Cider, Le Petite Outre, Pink Elephant and Bubblegum! Wristbands are will-call, and we will have booths available during festival events to pick up your wristbands! — Daisy Chain Fest 2024 encompasses 6 events! On Friday, we begin at Western Cider with Riley James, Punisher and Calamity Cowboy from 1pm-4pm. We then kick it over to the Zootown Arts Community Center with Dylan Running Crane and Les Duck supporting our headliners Dean Johnson and Desolation Horse from 5pm-9pm. We cap off the night with the VFW afterparty, hosting Tiny Iota, Hey, ILY, FUULS, Nes Croft and Pinedrops from 9pm until close. On Saturday, we have a block party from 11am until 5pm with Atmos Blue and Coach Shane spinning vinyl. The block party is also a vintage and art market hosted by Bubblegum, with dozens of local and regional makers! The Bubblegum block party will occur out front of Pink Elephant and Le Petit Outre on 4th st. Just around the corner on 3rd st, we will have our porch show, from 12pm-2pm with Nicolas Baker, Dawn Patrol, Katels and Shane Coburn. In the evening on Saturday, from 5pm until close, we have our marathon mainstage sets at the American Legion Hall. In order, we have Hair Machine, Brand New Companion, Dorris Doom, (latent), Trash Planet, Senterline, Solar Frets, Hibernator, Pay No Mind, Goochslam, Fly Over States and Idaho Green. Please come join the fun! Proceeds from Trans-Montana will go to NAMI – all money raised stays in Montana! Please join us in our effort to assist those living with an illness that can be treated, but has no cure. The ride is a week long (6 days), but you don't have to do it all--come ride some or all with us! ​Ride any or all areas Experience the beauty of Montana Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow riders (virtually everyone agrees, this is the best part!) Enjoy the satisfaction of helping those in Montana who are fighting the daily battle of mental illness.

Now entering its 23rd year, the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival is the premier venue for non-fiction film in the American West. The upcoming festival will take place February 13-22, 2026. Big Sky offers an ideal setting for filmmakers to premiere new work and develop lasting relationships with fellow filmmakers and industry. The festival draws an audience of 20,000 and film entries from every corner of the globe to a uniquely intimate mountain town setting with local Montana flavor. A hybrid festival, audiences can enjoy the festival program live in unique exhibition spaces across downtown Missoula and in Big Sky's virtual cinema from nearly anywhere in the world. Selected for 9 years running by MovieMaker Magazine's 50 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee, BSDFF is a top-100 rated festival on FilmFreeway and is an Academy Award-qualifying festival for short documentaries. The annual 10-day event takes place each February in downtown Missoula, Montana. The festival hosts over 200 visiting artists, presents an average of 150 non-fiction films, and offers a variety of exciting events at the historic theater The Wilma and neighboring downtown Missoula venues. In addition to screenings, the Big Sky DocShop is a five-day industry event that includes panels, master classes, workshops, and the Big Sky Pitch session.
