Prepare for an evening of artistic wonder as Torrents proudly presents a captivating artist talk featuring Erin Huffman and Grace Lawless. This special event, hosted in support of the inaugural fundraiser for Earth Within Girls, promises an intimate exploration of artistic inspiration and our deep connection to the natural world.
Erin Huffman, a fifth-generation Montana native, discovered her passion for painting amidst the lush landscapes of Maui in 2011. Her original acrylic and mixed media artworks reflect the spiritual essence of both Montana and Hawaii, infused with the profound emotions and imagery that stir her soul.
Grace Lawless, an unconventional artist with a unique journey, brings forth a kaleidoscope of emotions and visions through her evocative paintings. With a background as eclectic as her art, Lawless believes in the power of self-expression as a conduit between the physical and the metaphysical.
Attendees will have the opportunity to delve into the creative minds of Huffman and Lawless as they share insights into their artistic processes and the profound influence of nature on their work. Additionally, guests will learn more about Earth Within Girls and its impactful fundraiser, dedicated to empowering young women through nature-based experiences.
The artist talk will be held on May 16th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with doors opening at 5:30 pm at the Confluence Center, located at 119 W Main St, Missoula, MT.
