Distance, one-way: 2.5-12 miles depending on destination: Cascade, Grebe, Wolf and Ice lakes, or Norris

Estimated time: 3-8 hours, depending on destination

Difficulty: moderately easy

Trailhead: pullout 1/4 mile west of Canyon Junction on the Norris-Canyon Road

Choose your destination on this trail that passes through forest, meadow, and marsh: Cascade Lake (2.5 miles), Grebe Lake (4.25 miles), Wolf Lake (6.25 miles), Ice Lake (8.25 miles), and Norris Campground (12 miles). The trail can be wet and muddy through July with many biting insects. Trail has a little vertical rise.
