Norris Campground

NATIONAL PARK CAMPGROUND | Yellowstone National Park

Situated in a lodgepole forest near the Norris Geyser Basin, Norris Campground is a popular destination due to its central location in the park. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit with grate. Food storage boxes measuring 48 x 22 x 22 inches are available for shared use.

Evening campfire programs are held nightly June through early September at the Norris Campground campfire circle. Guided ranger walks will take you through the Norris Geyser Basin. Norris also features the Museum of the National Park Ranger (a quick stroll), the Norris Geyser Basin Museum, and Norris Geyser Basin—the hottest and most dynamic thermal area in Yellowstone.
