Purcell Trail #7 was reopened in 1986 after being abandoned in the 1940s. It provides an excellent horseback opportunity.

  • From Libby, travel north 0.5 miles on Highway 37. Turn left on Pipe Creek Road 68 and travel 19 miles to a 3-way junction, keeping straight for 0.5 mile on Road 112. Follow Road 6783 when it switches back to the left and travel 4.3 miles to Road 4716. Turn left and follow 2 miles, then right on Road 4716 for 0.5 mile.1
