NATIONAL FOREST TRAIL |

Grouse Creek Trail begins at the Main Boulder Work Station and travel over pastoral Burris Flat to West Boulder Campground. Difficult to follow across Burris Flat. About half of the trail is on private land, don't leave trail unless you're on Forest Service land. The trail accesses Nurses Lakes, Burris Flat, and Mount Rae areas. Nice views of Mount Rae. Length: 7.0 miles. Moderate difficulty, medium use.   • Grouse Creek Trail is located 25 miles south of big Timber on US Highway 298, then 2.5 miles south on County Road 212. Access may be limited in spring, fall and winter due to snow.1
