Granite Creek Trail (136) is an easy trail throughout most of its length, and continues on into the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness. Its greatest use comes from fishing, although backpacking and pack and saddle trips in the wilderness offer other recreational opportunities. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are winter possibilities. Granite Creek Falls and campsite are located about 2 miles up the trail in a cedar-hemlock forest. A magnificent view of 'A' Peak is obtained at Granite Lake.

No motorized vehicles are permitted on this trail, and no vehicles are allowed within the wilderness boundary.

Length: 6.25 miles. Heavy use, moderate difficulty.
