Cabin Lake Trail

Cabin Lake Trail (459) is the primary access to Cabin Lake and Cube Iron-Mt. Silccox Roadless Area. You can make a loop hike back to the trailhead. This route features sub-alpine lake basins and high elevation ridgetop topography. Non-motorized use only.

  • Approximately 5 miles east of Thompson Falls, Montana. leave State Highway 200 onto the Thompson River Road, County Route 556. Follow this road approximately 7 miles to its junction with Forest Road 603 up the West Fork of Thompson River. The trailhead is at the end of the open road.1
