Swan Lake Campground located across the highway from Swan Lake has 35 campsites and encompasses an area of 2 acres at an elevation of 2,500 feet. The area is wooded with birch and fir trees and the Swan Mountain Range borders to the east. Water and restrooms with handicapped facilities are located along paved loops. Access to the Swan Lake Day Use Area is included in the nightly fee. The Swan Lake Campground is also a great place for bicyclists to stop and spend the night. The campground features bike lanes and a first-come first-serve fully featured campsite for bicyclists. A boat launch is also conveniently located there. Fishing, swimming, and boating are popular activities at the lake.

There are also scenic trails for hiking. Pets are welcome on a leash. Groceries, a cafe, laundry facilities and showers are within one mile of the site. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 50 feet.
