East Boulder Campground

NATIONAL FOREST CAMPGROUND |

East Boulder Campground is located in the Gallatin National Forest. There are 2 camping sites, both of which can accommodate trailers up to 32 feet long but are not recommended for RVs. This campsite has a toilet, fire pits, and fishing access. No drinking water or firewood provided. This is a pack-in/pack-out campground with no trash service. There is a 16 day limit. No camping fee.

  • Located on the East Boulder River, 19 miles south of Big Timber. Take US Highway 298 to McLeod, then travel 6 miles east on East Boulder Road. Access may be limited in spring, fall and winter due to snow.1
