Copper Creek Campground

NATIONAL FOREST CAMPGROUND |

Copper Creek Campground is located in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest in southwest Montana. At an elevation of 5,500 feet, the campground covers an area of 2 acres. It is a small campground offering 7 campsites on the Middle Fork of Rock Creek, which is great for fishing. Water and restrooms are provided. Pets are welcome as long as they are kept on a leash. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 30 feet. Please limit your stay to 16 days within a 30 day period. This is a free campground.

  • From Philipsburg, go south on Highway 1 for 6.4 miles, then west on Highway 38 for 9 miles, then south on Forest Service Road 5106 9.9 miles to campground.1
