Buses of Yellowstone Preservation Trust

CULTURAL CENTER, MUSEUM, NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, REGISTERED HISTORIC SITE | Red Lodge

View original operating motorized vehicles used in Yellowstone Park prior to WWII showcased in a historic garage located in the Historic Commercial District of Red Lodge. Make a reservation for a bus trip in an original 1936/1937 Model 706 Yellowstone Park Bus on the scenic Beartooth Highway. Reservations are for the bus which seats up to 10 passengers: not for individual seats on the bus. For larger groups, an additional bus can be provided if available. Bus riders may bring along a lunch if desired for a picnic along the way as the trip can take up to 5-6 hours. This is truly a one-of-a-kind, bucket list trip; the only way to travel the Beartooth Highway. Visit our website and follow us on Facebook for a one-of-a-kind experience you can only get here!

The Buses of Yellowstone Preservation Trust is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2008. More information regarding the organization and history and photos of the historic vehicles and garage can be viewed on our website and Facebook page.
