Devil's Elbow Campground

The roads out to Devil's Elbow are all paved and the driving time from Helena is about 20 minutes. Boat launch, Day Use Area, toilets, fire-pits, and picnic tables to make your stay enjoyable. Just adjacent to Devil's Elbow Campground is Clark's Bay Day Use Area which has a beach with swimming, picnic tables, a boat launch and toilets. Also a picnic shelter is available for group reservations. An asphalt walking trail inter-connects Devil's Elbow, Clark's Bay and Two Camps Vista.   • The area is about 12 miles northeast of Helena and can be reached by taking Exit 193 (Cedar Street) off I-15. Next, travel east on Washington Street, passing the airport entrance to Custer Avenue. Turn right onto York Road and follow for 10 miles through Lakeside and continue for 2 more miles to the entrance to Devil's Elbow.1
