Timberlane Campground

NATIONAL FOREST CAMPGROUND |

Timberlane Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 2,640 feet. It is a secluded campground, yet close to Libby. This is an exceptional site for group events, reunions, or just for a weekend getaway. When you pay the reservation fee, the campground is yours--not just a site, but the entire campground! Close to town, yet private and serene. Very popular for group activities, Timberlane Campground has 11 campsites with great fishing spots nearby. Drinking water and restrooms are provided. Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on leashes. Maximum trailer length is 32 feet. Please limit stay to 14 days. No camping fee. Reservations are needed.

  • From Libby, cross the Kootenai River Bridge and turn north onto Pipe Creek Road 68 (which leads to the town of Yaak and Turner Mtn. ski area). Travel 8 miles to the gate, approximately 1 mile past the community of Pipe Creek.1
