St. Francis Xavier

CHURCH, LANDMARK, REGISTERED HISTORIC SITE | Missoula

St. Francis Xavier was built in 1889, the same year Montana became a state. The church is an outstanding structure with its graceful steeple, paintings and stained glass windows. The paintings were done by a brother of the Society of Jesus, a kitchen helper, who painted them in his spare time and turned out to be a master.

Sunday Liturgies - 5:00pm Saturday; 8:00am, 10:00am and 6:00pm Sunday.

Daily Mass - 8:00am Monday - Friday.
