Spotted Bear Campground is about as far as you can drive off the beaten track and still find a maintained campground. Spotted Bear Campground, located in northwest Montana, is in a remote area on the South Fork of the Flathead River. It is several miles above the end of Hungry Horse Reservoir on the edge of the beautiful Bob Marshall Wilderness. There is access to a trail which leads to the Great Bear Wilderness.
At an elevation of 3,500 feet, Spotted Bear Campground encompasses 5 acres with 13 designated campsites. Water and accessible vault toilets. All campsites have tables and metal fire rings. Hiking and fishing may be enjoyed at the campground. Pets are allowed if on a leash. The maximum recommended trailer length is 32 feet.
Please limit stay to 14 days. A fee is required for the use of this campground.
