Smoky Bear Ranch Bed and Breakfast is nestled along the western edge of the rugged Rocky Mountains of Glacier National Park in the North Fork area of the Flathead River. The main lodge built entirely of native cedar and pine, is situated on a slight hill overlooking a pond that is frequented by wildlife such as deer and moose. The Apgar Mountains of Glacier National Park form the backdrop to this serene setting. From its natural open beam ceiling, native rock hearth and warm wood stove to the trophy elk mount, the main room in the lodge offers an Old West atmosphere. Guest rooms feature their own private bathrooms. After a long day on the trails, you can relax in front of the fire or retire to your spacious room. Furnished with a queen sized lodge-pole pine bed and furniture, each is unique and inviting.
Summer activities include: fishing, mountain biking, floating/rafting, hiking and exploring Glacier National Park. Winter activities include: skiing (downhill and cross-country skiing nearby), snowshoeing, snowmobiling, wildlife viewing and photography.
