Step into the experience of 1800's life at the Smoking Water Mountain Man Rendezvous. The encampment, complete with Trader's Row, fires the imagination of what it must have been like to live in that era. Entertainment, demonstrations and seminars on a variety of 'life as it was skills' will give a deeper appreciation of the challenges and dangers that were faced and overcome. Tomahawk and knife demonstrations, black powder shoots, Mountain-man storytelling and musicians are all a part of this annual Smoking Waters Mountain Man Rendezvous. Visitor admission is free. Shooters' fee is $10.00.

Black Powder Shoot is one day only - Saturday August 9. Registration is at 8:00am and the Shoot starts at 9:00am. Primitive bow shoot August 3rd and 10th - Fee $5.00. Hawk and knife throw competition follows after bow shoots.
