The steepness of Rice Draw Trail (1071) eliminates all use but hiking. It provides access to upper Rice Draw-Lone Cliff and Loveland Ridge. If a downhill hike is preferred, the hiker may be dropped off at the top, off the trail on Rice Loop Road.   • From Heron, take the back road towards Noxon 5 miles to Rice Draw Road 2074. Turn right and travel 2 miles to the locked gate. The trail starts 0.5 mile past the gate.1
