Pillick Ridge Trail (1036) offers a commanding view of the Cabinet Mountains, Bull River valley, and Clark Fork valley. It is accessible to trail bikes the first 6 miles; after that the terrain makes trail bike use unsafe and destructive. It is a long hike up to the ridge with little or no water sources. This trail is best used as a backpacking trail, providing access to the proposed Scotchman Peaks Wilderness Area.   • From Trout Creek, travel west 16 miles on Highway 200. Turn right on Highway 56 and travel 8 miles. Turn left onto a short Forest Service loop road. The trailhead is located halfway through the loop.1
