June 20–21, 2025 — Sanders County Fairgrounds, Plains, Montana

The Montana Homesteaders Festival is a two-day celebration of rural living, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable homesteading. Held at the scenic Sanders County Fairgrounds in Plains, Montana, the festival offers attendees a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned homesteaders and small-family farmers. The event features hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and presentations on topics such as:

- Regenerative farming practices

- "Beyond organic" gardening

- Natural wellness for animals and people

- Homesteading skills and livestock care

In addition to educational sessions, the festival includes music entertainment, artisan vendors, farm food and products, and onsite saleable livestock and breeding livestock. It's a family-friendly event that honors the special way of life in rural Montana.
