Lone Mountain Ranch is a summer and winter family guest ranch. Summer activities focus on appreciating nature through naturalist-guided walks. Take Yellowstone Park interpretive trips, horseback riding, mountain biking, and canoeing. There are special evening presentations, outdoor youth adventures. We have barbecues, and sing-a-longs. Our ORVIS endorsed fly-fishing lodge provides a variety of fly-fishing adventures. We take you to the Gallatin river, Madison River, and into Yellowstone Park. ORVIS awarded the Ranch the Fly-fishing Lodge of the Year Award.

The Ranch's spectacular dining lodge features creatively prepared regional cuisine. They have featured the Ranch in such publications as Taste, Bon appétit, Big Sky Journal, Travel & Leisure, and the New York Times.

During the winter months, the Ranch offers Big Sky's Original Sleigh Ride Dinner. Guests take a twenty-minute sleigh ride through winter woods to the North Fork Cabin, where a Montana raised prime rib feast awaits. Musical entertainment rounds out the evening with folk/cowboy tunes. It's a favorite Big Sky tradition!
