Handkerchief Lake Campground is located in the Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 3,500 feet, the campground encompasses an area of 4 acres. It consists of 3 campsites in brushy timber on the shore of this 32-acre lake. The campground has a restroom. No drinking water. Hungry Horse Reservoir is located about one mile from the site. Marked hiking trails access the Jewel Basin area and numerous other lakes. Boating may be enjoyed on Hungry Horse nearby. Fishing is permitted on Hankerchief Lake and the reservoir. Trailers are not recommended as sites are hike-in. Please limit your stay to 14 days.
