The CM Russell Stampede is a good old fashion weekend in the west. It gets kicked off Saturday with a western art Quick Finish and auction. Some of the best artists in the northwest attend. Live music featuring Tanner Laws and Sterling Drake starts at 2 p.m. and continues throughout the day. Visitors can enjoy a western bbq while enjoying the music and art. Following the art auction is a street dance in downtown Stanford.
Sunday's features a PRCA rodeo, featuring some of the top rodeo athletes in the country. It is widely considered one of the best one-day performances in the state. Slack starts at 8 a.m. with the performance kicking off at 1:30 pm..
