Anaconda Visitor Center

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, CONVENTION AND VISITOR BUREAU, VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER | Anaconda

The Anaconda Visitor Center is housed in a replica of a turn-of-the-century railroad station complete with train display. It is centrally located in downtown Anaconda. Visitors are provided with local, area and state information. A video of the area is available for viewing. Travel counselors are on hand to answer questions and provide guidance. During the summer months a vintage bus is used to give historic tours. There is a charge for the tour which runs at 10:00am and 2:00pm from the Visitor Center Monday through Friday and Saturday by appointment from Mid-May through Mid-September.

  • Located on the Pintler Scenic Route, Montana 1. Traveling east on I-90 exit at Drummond. It is 50 miles on the scenic route to Anaconda. Continue through town, 3 blocks east of the stop light. The Visitor Center is on the left side.
