The people.
This isn’t a brand about a place you visit. It’s a brand about the people who live it every day.
Montana is hitting the road. Follow the 2026 Montana Tour as we celebrate the places, people and stories that make this state unforgettable.
Following a successful first year on the road, the Montana Tour returns in 2026 with stops across the state. From summer festivals to cultural celebrations and fall gatherings, the tour will bring the Montana truck, photo opportunities and community storytelling experiences to residents and travelers alike.
In 2025, the Montana Tour traveled across the state to connect with residents, local storytellers and travelers. Each stop offered a different view of Montana, from small-town celebrations to community traditions and roadside moments with the Montana truck.
The 2026 tour builds on that momentum with more places to visit, more stories to collect and more ways to experience Montana through the people who know it best.
The Montana Tour is rooted in the 2025 launch of Montana’s brand through the stories of real Montanans. The first stop took place at the World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale, where the brand began showing up not just as a look or a logo, but as something shaped by local communities.
Montana’s brand is built around the voices of residents and the character of the state itself. It reflects the people, landscapes, traditions and stories that make Montana unlike anywhere else.
By featuring residents and amplifying community-led storytelling,
the new brand is made for Montana by Montanans.
This isn’t a brand about a place you visit. It’s a brand about the people who live it every day.
Montana isn’t something you pose in front of. It’s something you step into.
A good Montana story isn’t just about what happened. It’s about what it meant.
The Montana Tour travels in a restored 1968 Chevrolet C10, painted by Montana artist Mike MacDonald. The truck serves as a recognizable presence at each tour stop and a rolling canvas for Montana’s brand story.
As the truck moves from town to town, it creates a memorable gathering point where people can take photos, share stories and connect with the places that make Montana feel like Montana.
Follow along throughout 2026 as the Montana Tour travels across the state. New photos, stories and updates will be added after each stop.
