The Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary is an American Sanctuary Association accredited sanctuary that provides lifelong homes to non-releasable native Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem wildlife. We provide our animals with natural and enriching lives while sharing a message of conservation through education. Come visit some of the most iconic species in the ecosystem, including bison, black bears, wolves, coyotes, mountain lion, bobcat, lynx, fox, hawks, falcons, owls, and many more.

  • From the North (1-90): Take Highway 212 towards Red Lodge. Turn left on 2nd Street East (at the first gas station), continue to the end of the road, turn left towards the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary. From the South (The Pass): Take Highway 212 through the town of Red Lodge. Turn right onto 2nd Street East (first street after the roundabout), continue to the end of the road, turn left towards the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary.From the North (1-90): Take Highway 212 towards Red Lodge.
