Wonderland Café & Lodge

Founded in 2017 by a local woman, Wonderland Café & Lodge is a welcoming place to enjoy scratch-made food and connect with Gardiner and Yellowstone. Led by Executive Chef Rachel Schlueter, who spent about ten years cooking inside Yellowstone National Park, the café serves lunch and dinner, fresh-baked goods, locally sourced options, bison steak, local burgers, wild game chili, salads, and soups made from scratch. When weather allows, guests can also enjoy our courtyard-style, dog-friendly patio.

The mountain-rustic café features rotating Yellowstone-inspired art by local artists, with trivia and occasional acoustic music in the off-season. Upstairs, Wonderland Lodge offers six boutique studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens and beautiful views. Many guests return year after year.

Wonderland is proud to support its community and longtime local staff. While rebuilding the historic Two Bit Saloon, which burned in 2020, we operate the Blue Goose Saloon as a gathering place for locals and visitors alike.
