Parmenter Creek Trail

NATIONAL FOREST TRAIL | Libby

The lower 3 miles of Parmenter Creek Trail #140 is unusual for the Cabinets, as the valley is wide and flat enough to provide many camping spots along the creek. An unmaintained trail also goes downstream from the end of the road which leads to the back of Woodway Park, a housing development. Good swimming holes will be found on this stretch of the trail. The access from town makes the trail popular with horseback riders. No motorized vehicles are permitted on this trail, and no vehicles are allowed within the wilderness boundary.

Length: 8.5 miles.
