Located in the historic Union Pacific Depot at West Yellowstone, the Museum showcases the local history and the history of visitation and transportation to our nation's first national park.
The Museum contains displays on stage coach and railroad companies that brought tens of thousands of visitors to the park, artifacts, weekly educational programs, guest speakers, daily films, and guided walking tours of the historic district. Open daily from the middle of May through the middle of October.

- The Museum of the Yellowstone is located two blocks west of the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park in the town of West Yellowstone. It is located on the south side of Yellowstone Avenue in the historic Union Pacific Depot, at the corner of Canyon Street and Yellowstone Avenue.
