The Montana Natural History Center has impressive displays on local and regional flora and fauna, ecosystems, and geology—including Glacial Lake Missoula—as well as a Kids’ Discovery Room, Naturalist Field Station, and Nature Adventure Garden for outdoor play. MNHC provides Naturalist Field Days and various evening programs for adults, and for kids we have a weekly mini-Naturalist preschool program on Monday mornings, afternoon Kids’ Activities two Saturdays a month, and week-long summer camps for kids in preschool through 5th grade, as well as several science camps for middle school girls. MNHC also provides the Field Notes program on Montana Public Radio and publishes Montana Naturalist magazine two times a year.
