Lonesome Ridge Trail (154) is an attractive access route to Lonesome Ridge and Route Creek Trail 108. The trail is predominantly forested climbing at steep grades and dropping to an open saddle at the top. Good views are offered looking both north and south. Crossing the Middle Fork of the Teton could pose a problem in the spring of the year.

  • Take US Highway 89 north from Choteau 5 miles. Turn west on the Teton River Road 144 and go 17 miles to the South Fork Teton Road 109. Continue for 9 miles to the trailhead. Park well off the road.1
