Lake Creek is inhabited by rainbow and cutthroat trout, up to 10 inches in length. Resident suitability is good to very good . Foot travel along the stream may be difficult as stream bank cover is generally dense and brushy. Geiger Lakes Trail 656, Silver Dollar Trail 114, and Lake Creek Campground can be easily accessed from the Lake Creek area.

  • From Libby, travel 22 miles south on Highway 2 and turn right (west) onto West Fisher Road 231. Travel 5 miles over a winding dirt road that crosses Lake Creek near its mouth. The middle and upper reaches can be accessed from the Lake Creek campground and Geiger Lakes Trailhead 656.
