Joel's Pond
WATCHABLE WILDLIFE, ATTRACTION, CITY PARK
|
Billings
The park comprises 17 acres, including a 12 acre pond. The pond has a self-sustaining bass population, so bring your pole, but Montana state fishing regulations apply. There is an active osprey nest for bird watching.
At the pond is a floating dock and an ADA-compliant concrete ramp for fishing access. Non-motorized boating is recommended on the pond. There are two picnic shelters and a waterless toilet. The city’s scenic and popular Shiloh Conservation Area is on the opposite side of Shiloh Rd., and Zoo Montana is a half mile south. Scheels Sports also has an eatery and indoor recreation.
