Glacier Campground is located just one mile from the west entrance of Glacier National Park and is the closest family owned and operated campground (celebrating 42 years in 2026!) to the park, known for “the way camping used to be!” Our heavily wooded 40 acre campground is surrounded by the Flathead National Forest. We have lots of goodies for you to check out on our To Do page including trails both inside and outside of Glacier National Park and activities in the surrounding area along with local food & drink options. Questions about our campground including BNSF (railroad company formerly Great Northern Railroad) that has been operating here since 1910 and was a keystone in the founding of Glacier National Park as well as building all of the historic lodges and chalets visitors still appreciate after nearly 100 years can be found on our FAQ page.
