Trail Begins: Junction with Trail 25, Monture Creek Trail

Trail Ends: Junction with Trail 31, Dry Fork

Falls-Canyon Trail (16) is another route to Camp Pass and Lake Otatsy from the Monture Creek Trailhead. It goes above Falls Creek until a couple miles from the top and then it follows the creek. The trail ends at Dry Creek. It could be a loop trail if you returned on Spread Creek from Camp Pass. Enters Bob Marshall Wilderness east of Canyon Lake.

  • From Highway 200 take the Monture Creek Road north to the Monture Campground and tailhead. Almost a mile up the Monture trail you'll find where Falls Creek joins Monture Creek and the trail junction.1
