Deep Creek Trail (311) is a gently sloping trail which climbs above the north side of Deep Creek to Locke Ridge. It is an easy hike that should only take a few hours. There are three small lakes below the ridge on the east side.   • From Fortine, travel US Highway 93 to Deep Creek Road 368. Turn and follow 1.2 miles, then turn left onto Road 368. Travel 5.5 miles, turning left before crossing Deep Creek bridge. The road is grated, but parking is available along the roadside. Hike 1.5 miles on the travel road to the trail sign.1
