6 NOV 2026
The Confluence Center (Western Montana's Home for Nonprofit Events) art program Torrents is thrilled to present a magical evening of art, music, and community! For the month of November we welcome the visionary Sean Parson in an immersive multisensory experience.
Sean Parson is a multimedia artist whose work blends visual and sonic expressions, with spoken word exploring themes of nature, consciousness, and spiritual energy. Much of his work comes from stone and tile remnants that are left over byproducts from residential tile installations. These elements come together in fusion with his love for music, the great outdoors, art, culture, and traveling. In his exhibit Sonic Landscapes: Reasonings with the Council of Balance, Parson blends a new body of his tile work with his musical journey, exploring the healing power of frequency and the energy found in minimalism. Get swept away as soon as you walk through the door and are immersed in this blend of the tactile arts and music accompanied by video art installation, helping “our own personal, and in our collective, return to awakening.”
Opening reception will be First Friday, November 6th, 5-8pm at the Confluence Center at 119 W Main St, Missoula, MT. Sonic Landscapes: Reasonings with the Council of Balance will remain on display through November 27th and can be seen by appointment through the Confluence Center: 406-926-6526. There will also be an Artist Talk/Closing Reception held on Friday, November 27th, 6-8pm.
