Glendive Walleye Tournament

The Glendive Walleye Tournament is one of the last open-water walleye events on the eastern Montana calendar. Anglers fish out of Glendive on the lower Yellowstone River, which by early October typically runs lower and clearer than midsummer and concentrates walleye in deeper holes, current seams, and dam tailouts.
The event is part of the Montana Walleyes Unlimited family of fall river tournaments alongside the Yellowstone River Classic and Yellowstone River Rats. With a $100 per team entry, it’s a budget-friendly fall closer that draws a regional crowd of Glendive, Sidney, and Miles City walleye anglers running jet boats and prop rigs on the Yellowstone.
