Harvest Full Moon Hike: National Public Lands Day
26
National Public Lands Day: Harvest Full Moon Hike: National Public Lands Day is celebrated annually at public lands in the United States on the fourth Saturday of September. As a signature event of the National Environmental Education Foundation, it promotes both popular enjoyment and volunteer conservation of public lands. We will be celebrating National Public Lands Day this year with a full moon hike under the Harvest Moon. This non-interpretive hike will be led by Makoshika State Park staff, and we will have s’mores following the hike! Participants should wear proper footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
