Did you know that Montana has the most skateparks per capita in the entire country? What makes this fact even more impressive is the location of these parks, most of which are found in rural communities like Browning, Malta, Wolf Point and more.
This past summer, Montana welcomed a new skatepark near the Madison River in Ennis, Montana, that connected the city’s fishing community with its skateboarders, thanks to a giant trout bowl and sculpture.
Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament has been integral in supporting the rural skatepark initiative across the state, so stay tuned for more updates.
