Ross Creek Overlook-USFS

NATIONAL FOREST DAY AREA | Troy

Ross Creek Overlook does not provide a vantage point of great height, but the traveler obtains a dramatic view of the Cabinet Mountains and Bull Lake Valley. The overlook offers pullouts but trailers are not recommended. From this overlook it is only a short distance to the Ross Creek Scenic Area, a grove of giant western red cedars that are 500 years old and set in a rain forest atmosphere. A picnic area and .9-mile nature trail are available. Trailer parking may be found just off Highway 2.
