Helena SeptemberFest returns September 11–13, 2026, for a free, family-friendly weekend of creativity, community, and gravity-powered fun in downtown Helena. This year's "Gulch Goes Galactic" theme features the popular Soap Box Derby, a derby car show, live music, food trucks, giant balloon sculptures, a 1K Fun Run, and activities for all ages. Spectators can watch homemade soapbox racers speed down Helena's iconic 6th Avenue hill before celebrating with an awards ceremony and downtown festivities.
