Bitterroot Flat Campground is located in the Lolo National Forest in northwest Montana. At an elevation of 4,300 feet, the campground encompasses 5 acres. There are 15 campsites. Pets are allowed if on a leash. Handicap accessible vault toilets and drinking water (is available. Maximum trailer length is 32 feet. Fishing opportunities are available on Rock Creek. The camping limit is 14 days. A fee is required for the use of this campground from May till September 30. A food/attractant storage order is in effect on the entire Lolo National Forest. This is a pack-in/pack-out campground.

  • Travel 5 miles southeast of Clinton on I-90 to Rock Creek Exit 126, then 23 miles south along Rock Creek Road #102. The last 11 miles of road are rough and single lane. Travel slowly.
