Wheeler Creek Trail joins the Alpine Trail 7 on the south boundary of the Jewel Basin. Length: 4.5 miles. Low difficulty. Trail Begins: Forest Road 895F Trail Ends: Trail 7 Area Map: Flathead Forest Visitor Map USGS Map1: Big Hawk Mountain Township 27N; Range 18W; Section 26

Special Directions
Access from Hungry Horse: drive south on the west side of Reservoir Road 895 for spprozimately 37 miles. Turn west on Wheeler Creek Road 895F, stay to the right on the main road to the roads's end. The road has been burmed and is now the first mile or so of the trail.
