Have you ever wanted to sail through the trees like an Ewok, a Clark's nutcracker or how about a sparrow? Then come Ride the Zipline at Big Sky Resort! After you get all geared up at the Basecamp, the Zipline experience begins with a short hike up to the top of the Zipline. Then zip through the trees and across the middle road (make sure to scream really loud at anyone on the road below you). Then continue to the second zipline where you will fly 525 feet through the Moose Tracks forest. The third and final line will zip you across the gully so close to trees you can reach out and grab them if you want. Don't forget your camera, this fun must be documented.
*Sign up at Basecamp or call 406-995-5769
*Three lines 350-500ft in length, 30-60 feet in the air

Map and Driving Directions
Special Directions
Big Sky Resort is nestled in the Rocky Mountains of southwest Montana. Located 45 miles south of Bozeman on Highway 191 and 47 miles north of West Yellowstone on the same highway, the scenic drive to Big Sky is one not to be missed. If you're coming by air, Allegiant, Delta/SkyWest, Alaska, United and Frontier all fly into Bozeman - Yellowstone Airport, the servicing airport to Big Sky. Rental cars, shuttles and taxis can be utilized during both seasons. Big Sky is situated between two units of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness area, the Gallatin National Forest and Yellowstone National Park. The border of Yellowstone is just 18 miles south. At the base of Lone Mountain, the Big Sky Village is 9 miles west of Highway 191.
